I am afraid!

of opening pre-packaged dough. you know -- the tubes where you have to pull the little tab and then it POPS open...

the anticipation of the pop is too much for me. just typing this makes my heart race a little faster.

here is how I do it:

I pull the tab just a little . . .

and then throw it on the ground. this way I know WHEN it will pop and that it won't be in my face.

I also just realized that I am probably the only one out there, besides my grandma, still eating pillsbury. I have more important things to do than make stuff from scratch! ... like mop the floor from doughy-residue... ya know???

what are your crazy fears? do tell. I need a good laugh today.

Hello seester.

I was thinking about it the other day, and I realized that when I turn the lights off downstairs and hurry up the stairs at night, I really hurry.

I was thinking about why, and I realized that I'm afraid of zombies. Always have been. Which is why I also always ran up the stairs at the old house--so zombies from downstairs wouldn't grab my feet before I got to the top, or the safe spot where they couldn't get me.

Sorry I'm such a weirdo.

Okay, I'm totally with you on this one! The anticipation is just too much! I am so scared of loud noises. Once, I was in the house, and someone lit some firecrackers. For some reason (because I'm sure this always happens in Provo, UT), I hit the ground and started crying...I thought it was a drive by shooting! I hate loud noises!!

I fear potty training, it requires my tot to come in contact with a toilet (maybe that's why she is so terrified of potty training, I have made her fear the bacteria infested toilet)...don't know how I am going to fix this one!

p.s. I need to send you an invite to our blog, send me your e-mail to missysuehernandez@hotmail.com and I will send you an invite!

You are so funny! I'm a worst case scenerio thinker. After Hayden was born our treadmill was out in the garage and I'd run while he was napping. But I started thinking what if I just misstepped a bit and fell backwards towards all of our shelves of crap. Then the junk would fall on me and knock me out, and I'd be unconscious when poor Hayden woke up and he'd have to scream till Jerry got home from work. That seriously kept me from running for a couple weeks.

I'm totally with you on pilsbury. I have to have my husband open it for me.

I'm also afraid of hitting a child with my car when I back up out of my driveway. I seriously take several minutes to back up and go slowly, looking several times to make sure no one is there.

If I think about buffet restaurant germs then I sort of have panic attacks. Disgusting. Scared to death of them. Thank goodness I hardly ever go to buffets.

My fear is having to give up drinking Mr. Pibb! It is a very real and terrifying fear! :)

I'm afraid of this, too. Just ask my hubby. But I'm too neurotic to throw it on my dirty floor (your floors are probably clean). I just open it a little bit and then bang it on the corner of the counter.

You know what really scares me? Pigeons. I am afraid of pigeons.

Oh how much time do you have? There is the usual stuff like afraid to use public toilets, touch door handles, use drinking fountains, an absolutely paralyzing fear of spiders, afraid of the dark and talking to strangers. The weirder stuff includes being afraid of the metal tape measurers (the sides are so sharp and scary) and cruise ships, because they are in the ocean and if I go on a cruise the boat will sink and a shark will attack me. I'm not even going to go into all the neurotic stuff that has shown up since having children to worry about. Do you feel normal yet?
Cute pictures by the way!
