saran wrapping the couch.

The move is over. Yes. Turns out saran wrapping your furniture does protect it. Who knew? We are (sort of) settled in our new home... and are excited about lots of little projects to spruce this place up! I will post pictures of the new house after we paint. The kids and I leave for Utah this afternoon. Ty and Hailey are so excited; it's Christmas times 4 around here. To prove my point: last night Ty went to bed at 8:00. At 9:30 he woke up, came downstairs and asked Andrew and I when Hailey would be awake... we were confused until we realized that he thought it was 9:30 in the morning and he couldn't figure out why Hailey was still sleeping. It took awhile to get him back to bed.

Anyway... we can't wait to see our family and our Utah friends...

wish us luck on the flights!

Hey girl! We want to see pics of your new house!

I guess we can't talk you into moving to Salem and being our neighbors?

Have fun on your trip!

Amy, how did you guys saran wrap the couch? And is that industrial saran wrap- where did you buy it? We're moving in 3 weeks and I don't want my couch and loveseat to get dirty.

Hi Megan,
It is the cheapest saran wrap WalMart had (I believe the Great Value brand)... it was kind of a pain to get it on there... but it really did work. Enlist help FOR SURE :) We bought 6 rolls and used most of them for couches, etc. GOOD LUCK!

initially i thought the saran wrap was to make the coaches smaller to fit through door ways.

that too. but mostly to protect.
